Explosions in London & Unpredictability Of Life

I have been watching the breaking news here in Melbourne on TV, which covers the live information about the series of explosions on London's tube (underground railway network) and transport system. So far at least twelve people are killed and ninety injured. There has been speculation for the unknown causes of the events, which happened only a day after London won the 2012 Olympics and as leaders of G8 Summit. The Age reports that there are at least seven explosions. More information here.

Life is really so unpredictable isn't it?! Yesterday everyone in London was smiling, laughing and celebrating the great news of being awarded the 2012 Olympic game, yet today everyone was in absolute shock and was puzzled by the deadly attacks. This terrble act is the evil outworking of darkened hearts.

As recorded in the Bible, "At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, but he who stands firm to the end will be saved" (Matthew 24:10-13)

"Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near."

Similar lines in the Qoran are what inspire the terrorists to kill people.

Jeez isnt religion fun?!

If the terrorists truly repent, they wouldn't have killed people really.

Similar suggestions to some of the world top leaders who misinterpret bible to open war and kill people everywhere.

If they truly repent and do justice in the Middle East, the terrorists may not kill so many as they did today and in 911. The world will be more peaceful too.

Greed and hatred is the cause therefore I agree repent is the solution.

yeah I agree with you Simon.

Except neither side thinks it has anything to repent of.

Then sadly speaking more and more innocent people in the western world will surely be killed by the terrorists and the kingdom of heaven may come sooner than expected.

Just pray for their repentance although I also agree both sides are truly as stubborn as donkey donkey.

truly all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God....yet the difference is that those who follow Jesus are not perfect, but they are forgiven (if they genuinely repent)!
